Casino enthusiasts and companies such as Sightline Payments with Kirk Sanford would be glad to note the escalation in healthy competition within the U.S. gaming industry.

According to Wall Street analysts, Pennsylvania will most likely surpass Atlantic City as the second-largest casino market in the country. The state’s industry in has been rapidly expanding by double-digit margins.

“Pennsylvania gaming, sometime next year, will most likely be bigger than Atlantic City,” said Andrew Zarnett, managing director at Deutsche Bank. Others believe that Atlantic City’s ‘Revel’ will boost the industry there with its opening.

“I think Atlantic City will fight back a little bit with the opening of Revel,” said Christopher Jones of Telsey Advisory Group.
