Global Cash Access Set to Roll Out Secure, Internet-based Cage Operation System in 230 Gaming Locations

SUNNYVALE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Oct. 12, 1999–Global Cash Access (GCA), the largest provider of cash access services to the gaming industry, will soon begin rolling out QuikCash(TM) Plus 2.0, a full-service transaction processing system for casino cage operations that consolidates processing for all types of financial transactions.

QuikCash Plus 2.0 integrates into a secure, web-based platform the industry’s largest gaming customer database from Central Credit LLC, with direct access to TeleCheck and the Western Union® Money Transfer(SM) service, in addition to GCA’s extensive cash access services and customer databases. The software represents a major innovation in speeding cash transactions for gaming patrons and maximizing efficiency for cage operators.

The roll-out will begin with more than 230 GCA customer properties in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean who already subscribe to the services of Central Credit, the leading provider of gaming patron credit information services.

”In one system, casinos will be able to access all of our transaction services as well as the industry’s largest gaming patron database,” said Kirk Sanford, GCA chief executive officer. ”The integration of all of these services together on a secure, web-based platform results in an extremely powerful tool to assist casinos in customer service and retention.”

”In a web-based, active technology environment, our database rises to a whole new level of value,” said Pam Shinkle, president of Central Credit. ”Gaming establishments will be able to cater to their customers in ways they never dreamed they could.”
