Global Cash Access Wins Two Awards for the Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Products of 2003 With QCP Web and QuickJack Plus
LAS VEGAS — Global Cash Access (GCA), the leading supplier of cash access and customer relationship marketing technologies to the gaming industry, has received the Top 20 Most Innovative New Gaming Products Award for 2003 from Casino Journal for two products - QuikCash Plus (QCP) Web and QuickJack Plus.
QCP Web, which is installed at 124 casinos, is a full-service transaction processing system for cage operations that streamlines casino operations, improves customer satisfaction and increases gaming revenues. QuickJack Plus is a multi-function self-serve redemption ticket-in/ticket-out kiosk for patrons. Supplied and marketed by NRT Technology Corporation, QuickJack Plus incorporates GCA’s ATM, debit and credit card cash advance services.
“We are thrilled to be honored with NRT for this prestigious award,” said Kirk Sanford, chief executive officer of GCA. “It validates our efforts to deliver forward-thinking products that improve operations, increase revenues and enhance the gaming experience.”
Through a secure, browser-based environment, QCP Web allows casinos to process multiple financial transactions through one device - including credit and debit cash advance, TeleCheck check guarantee, Western Union Money Transfer, QuikCredit and Central Credit. QCP Web speeds up the transaction processing cycle by matching customer profiles to GCA’s database, so manual input is virtually eliminated and patrons receive faster service.
QCP Web is deployed on 1,200 terminals with an average of 2,000 cage operators using the system in a typical week.
QuickJack Plus is a user-friendly, intuitive interface that allows patrons to cash in slot tickets, vouchers and coupons, perform ATM, debit and credit card cash advance transactions, redeem players’ club points for complimentary services and cash and break bills to exchange currency. Other functions, such as show ticket purchases, restaurant reservations or general information can be made available based on gaming properties’ needs.
Casino Journal’s Top 20 Most Innovative New Gaming Products Awards are recognized as the one of most prestigious awards for gaming products and services. Now in its seventh year, a panel of five expert judges evaluated this year’s entries and chose the 20 finalists, which will be featured in the February edition of Casino Journal. The award-winning products will be showcased at the American Gaming Summit, February 3-4, 2004, at the Four Seasons Las Vegas. Conference attendees will vote for their favorite products and services from the Top 20 finalists, and the top three products will be honored during a breakfast the second day of the American Gaming Summit.
With QCP Web and QuickJack Plus, GCA has now earned the Top 20 award for five products, the first coming in 1998 for the Casino Cash Plus 3-in-1 ATM, the second in 2001 for the ACM(SM) and the third in 2002 for the QuickPlay ATM.
