Kirk Sanford is currently the Chairman and CEO of Sightline Acquisition Corp, a privately held investment fund that specializes in acquiring distressed property and other assets.
He has diverse business experience having completed a variety of transactions in Mergers and Acquisitions, leverage recapitalizations, high yield financings, private equity, and initial public offerings. He is a pioneer and leader in financial and payment services to the casino industry and prior to the announcement of retirement in October 2007, he was a founder, Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director of Global Cash Access Inc. (NYSE: GCA), a leading provider of cash access products and related services to casino properties and other clients in the United States, Continental Europe, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Caribbean and Asia. He is also the founder of Sightline Payments LLC.
Mr. Sanford’s entrepreneurial leadership took a start-up company to more than $1.5 Billion valuation, $650 Million in annualized revenues, and 400 employees around the world. Concurrently, he was Chief Executive Officer, President and Owner of Central Credit, the leading provider of gaming patron credit information services to casinos throughout the world, a company which he sold in 2002 for $44Million. From 1994 until 1998 Mr. Sanford was the general manager and Executive Vice President of a joint venture between Bank of America (BA) Merchant Services, Inc. and USA Processing, Inc. a start-up merchant payments company.
Mr. Sanford and holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College. Mr. Sanford has been featured by Business Week as one of the Top 100 CEO’s Under 40, Macau Business, and numerous casino and banking trade magazines around the world.
