A new casino is expected to open next month in Wayland Township, Michigan. The Gun Lake Casino is almost finished, with full carpeting, 1,400 slots and 28 table games already set up.
So far, the casino leaders have hired six hundred workers, and plan on employing at least one hundred more once they are trained as dealers.
David Frankhouser, Vice President of Operations, said “the hiring process has been unbelievable. We’ve had over 8,000 applications. We’ve done over 3,000 interviews, so it’s been a tremendous process of getting people on board. And the local community has just beem so excited in the effort. It’s just been so exciting!”
Gaming enthusiasts throughout the country surely find the new casino exciting as well. Companies such as Sightline Payments with Kirk Sanford certainly appreciate the new growth and development in the casino industry following its latest slump.
